A Brief Remark about Communicative Approach to Teaching English in Middle School

Abstract

In modern society, English language teaching in China becomes more and more important. As we know, the traditional approach, which takes the teacher and students much time and energy, brings out slow and poor effects in learning, while the Communicative Approach, which will be discussed in this thesis, takes less time and produces fast and better effects. This thesis first introduces the basic knowledge of the Communicative Approach, including the historical origin, connotation and its theoretical base. And it then points out some teaching methodology of the Communicative Approach. Finally, it discusses the application of the Communicative Approach in middle school English teaching, namely in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

摘  要

  在現代社會,中國的英語語言教學已經變得越來越重要。衆所周知,傳統的英語教學方法花費了老師和學生大量的時間和精力,卻收穫甚微。但是,在這篇論文中所討論的交際教學法,卻能在短時間內取得更好的`效果。本文從3個方面對交際教學法進行論述。首先,介紹了交際教學法的1些基本知識,包括歷史起源,內涵意義,以及理論基礎; 然後,指出了1些交際教學法的教學方法論原則;最後,論文重點討論了交際教學法在中學英語聽、說、讀、寫教學中的運用。
