On the Design of English Courseware in Middle School

Abstract

    From behaviorism-oriented to cognitivism-oriented, from teacher-centered to learner-centered, English teaching approaches have changed a lot during the hundreds of years of English teaching history. Coexisting in a thriving educational field with many other teaching approaches, using English courseware in teaching approach definitely attract the most attention. Starting with the history of English courseware design, this thesis analyzes the development of design of English courseware, the advantages of using English courseware in English teaching and some factors affecting design of English courseware. Besides, the author puts forward some suggestions for a successful class by using English courseware. In order to explain the theories more clearly, the author takes the middle school teaching material as a main source, designing two courseware. Finally, on the basis of adoption of scholars theories and comments, this thesis draws a conclusion about the problems of the application of using English courseware in English teaching classes. A multimedia language class pattern is put forward as well, which is designed to improve students communicative competence.
   This thesiss goal is to make more people understand the development conditions of English courseware, thus promote the English courseware wide spread application in the middle school English teaching.

摘  要

在1百多年短暫歷史中,英語教學法經歷了從行爲主義佔主導地位到從認知主義佔主導地位,以教師爲中心到以學生爲中心的鉅變。在多種教學法並存的當今教育界,使用英語課件進行教學無疑成爲了其中的亮點。本文從英語課件設計的歷史着手,透徹分析了英語課件設計的發展,在英語教學中使用英語課件所帶來的好處,以及影響英語課件設計的1些因素等。另外,本文作者還提出了怎樣使用英語課件來進行1堂成功的課堂教學的建議. 爲了更好地詮釋理論,作者還以中學教材爲藍本設計了兩個英語課件。最後,在採納學者們的理論和評論上,本文總結了使用英語課件在英語教學課堂中應用需要注意的.問題,並且提出了可供參考的多媒體教學課堂模式
這篇論文的主要目的是向人們介紹英語課件的發展狀況,從而促進中學英語課件在中學英語教學中的廣泛應用。
