一、 教材和學生分析
本單元的主題是star signs。教學對象爲9年級學生。本節課包括兩部分Comic strips & Welcome to the unit。Comic strips中涉及了學生以前接觸過的句型It’s adj of sb to do，be adj enough to do。他們是本單元的語法，但學生很熟悉這個句型，所以在Free talk中， 我從學生的生活經驗出發，設計了貼近學生生活的問題，引出本單元語法，同時匯入Welcome to the unit部分12星座。有關12 星座的單詞很難讀，所以在這一環節中，我依據課程的總體目標並結合教學內容，創造性地設計了遊戲、採訪調查、聽歌填詞等貼近學生實際的教學活動，吸引和組織他們積極參與，使學生的思維和想象力、審美情趣和藝術感受、協作和創新精神等綜合素質得到發展。學生從活動中獲取、處理和使用資訊，能流利地用英語與他人交流，發展了他們用英語解決實際問題的能力。我在設計教學任務時，對本課進行了整合，我首先處理Welcome to the unit 然後自然過渡到Comic strips.正如新課標中指出，“教師要善於結合實際教學需要，靈活地和有創造性地使用教材的內容、編排順序、教學方法等方面進行適當的取捨或調整”，而且程曉棠教授說過，好的任務型活動應該具有系列性，即在同一個話題下開展不同的活動，下一個活動在前一個活動的結果中產生。重新整合教學內容，更好的體現了任務與任務之間環環相連。我想透過展示以下不同的教學活動過程來談一談我對本課的思考與啓示。

Step 1 presentation
T: Why is he such a kind of person? Maybe because of his animal sign (show his animal sign)
T: Do you want to know other animal signs?(show and read them Are you afraid of a snake ?I’m afraid of I hear of it there will be a slight shake through my body.)
T: Can you guess my animal sign?( ss guess— snake)
T: Do you think I’m unlucky？I’m afraid of a snake , but my animal sign is the snake ,because I was born in the year of the snake, the year decides my animal sign. However , I’m lucky enough not to have the same star sign ,I was born on Feb 20th . the date decides my star sign ,Do you want to know my star sign ?Be careful and you will find it out.

問題及活動符合新課標所倡導的“活動要以學生的生活經驗和興趣爲出發點，內容和方式採取“任務型”教學途徑，拋出他們感興趣的一個任務——發現老師的星座，提高了學生的學習興趣，激發了學生主動參與的積極性。這樣便很自然地引出主題——star signs。英語作爲一門語言課程，與中文一樣也注重起、承、轉、合。我在處理各個教學環節的時候，特別注意每個環節之間的銜接與過度，使整個教學過程形成一個有機的整體，避免給人支離破碎的感覺。透過師生對話，拓展了教材自然而然的由中國生肖過渡到西方星座，讓學生了解了中西方文化中生肖與星座的不同，同時引出本課第二部分Welcome to the unit.

我精心設計恰當而又有效的活動，積極創設能讓學生主動交流的語言環境，把課本材料還原成活生生的交際語言，既緊扣了教材，又拋開了教材，然後再回到教材。讓每個學生進入活動角色，處理Welcome to the unit部分之後，邀請他們欣賞與本課有關的歌曲 Signs，在英語教學中，英語歌曲的作用經常被我們所忽視。有的`老師認爲太浪費時間，但我發現教唱英文歌曲不僅不會影響正常英語教學，而且對英語教學有很大的促進作用。它就像一支鮮豔的花朵在課堂上綻放，吸引着孩子們求知的目光，薰陶着孩子們美麗的心靈。良好的精神狀態是學習的首要條件。這時候，進行教學活動會收很好的效果。當覺察到學生開始出現疲倦時，及時地唱一首英文歌曲也是很好的調節辦法，有趣的歌曲會讓孩子們精神抖擻。這樣有助於渲染氣氛，使課堂教學的高潮迭起，這正是我們所追求的。營造一個和諧、寬鬆的課堂氛圍，讓學生輕鬆愉快地學習，更會激發學生學習英語的興趣，並完成聽力任務 ，積極用英語思維，透過小組合作，把書本知識內化爲實實在在的語言交際能力。
