一、教學目標

Why did the people throw rice dumplingsinto the river?
3.能瞭解中國傳統節日——端午節的有關知識;
4.滲透中國傳統節日文化的教育，培養學生愛國主義精神，激發學生學習的興趣。
二、教學重點及難點
重點：掌握本課新單詞;理解並運用本課特殊疑問句問答。
難點：複述或表演本課對話。
三、教學準備
日曆、糉子、單詞卡片、教學掛圖、教學磁帶等。
四、教學步驟
Step l Warming up
1.師生問候。
2.值日生報告。
3.創設情景，引導學生複習形容詞的比較級與最進階。
4.複述或表演上節的課文。
Step2 Presentation and drill
1.出示日曆，翻到農曆五月初五。
T: Look! Toady isthe fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Is it the Mid-Autumn Festival?
S：No. It's theDragon Boat Festival. (引導學生回答)

鼓勵學生大膽回答，幫助學生理解單詞during。
2.出示一些糉子。
