和上文的過程一樣，就是把接受換成拒絕(decline)就可以了。建議有多個offers的人把不想去的學校早日拒掉，因爲你拿着也只能看，但拒掉了之後，就有可能使同樣申請的`人 有機會早日拿到這個offer，對他人來說你是做了件大好事。下面是個拒絕offer的例子：

In fact, I declined an offer from another university when I get this email message from you. However, before I formally accept this offer of financial aid, I wish you could extend the deadline for me for 2 weeks. I feel quite sorry and nervous to pose you such a problem, but I sincerely wish you could understand my feeling, because a professor of University of Michigan told me that he would give me a final decision at that time, although he can't let me know how much my chance would be at this time. Again, I should state that I do have strong interest in your graduate program and I treat it a precious chance to join your research group. I told you about all my situations because I don't want to bring any inconvenience to you later, if any. Sorry for this. Thank you very much again. I am looking forward to your kind reply.
