交關稅前，進口貨物需經由海關保管。
由於介詞before的限制，在其後只有用名詞形式。但譯成漢語時則把payment一詞按照具有行動意義的`名詞譯爲“交”。

在許多場合下將介詞轉譯成動詞，這時需要依據上下文進行引申，具體地翻譯。
