3分鐘左右的自我介紹要重點準備。基本上每個院校每個專業的口試中都會涉及這一方面。自我介紹時思路要清楚，突出重點，口語要自然流暢。考官其實是要藉此瞭解你的'口頭表達能力以及你的報名表之外的一些資訊，可以精心設計一下自我介紹，也可以借鑑網上的範文，但一定要結合自身情況進行修改，凸顯出自己的特色。
1) 我們一進入考場，考官一般都要求作自我介紹，開頭可以用一句話引入，例如：Dear professors, I feel so glad to meet all of you here. 然後就可以進入主題，介紹自己及相關的資訊等等。
2) 自我介紹的主體內容
① 姓名，介紹自己姓名時，發音一定要慢要準。
② 年齡，年齡可說可不說，可以跟在姓名後帶過(I am XXX, 25 years old)，也可以加上家鄉和家庭的介紹。
③ 原來的院校、專業：一定要把原來學校或公司的英文名稱、專業的英文名稱弄清楚。在職考生則應將自己公司、自己職位、職稱的英文名稱弄明白。
④ 性格、能力，可以着重強調你的個性對你報考的專業有何積極的作用。以下是可供選擇的形容詞：carefully，detail-oriented、logical、steady、responsible、dependable、efficient、
Aggressive、adaptable、amicable等等。
在職考生或有過工作經驗的考生還可以強調一下你的工作成績，如：As the assistant to the General Manger of XXX Company, I have helped to negotiate a $200,000 deal for the corporation.
⑤ 愛好，一般可以從體育、音樂、電影等方面來說，同時要簡單說明這些愛好對你的積極意義。
⑥ 你對報考的專業有興趣，可適當舉出一些例子，如經常看相關的書籍、論文、文章、新聞等。在職考生可以強調知識教育對工作的影響。
在自我介紹完後，可以說下對未來的規劃包括學習規劃(研究生以後的方向)和人生規劃(短期及長期)。下面我們提供一個模板以供參考：
