the family had just moved to rhode island, and the young woman was feeling a little melancholy on that sunday in may. after all, it was mother's day and 800 miles separated her from her parents in ohio.

首先感謝各位領導老師對我的信任和支援，給我這個機會參加競聘演講。
20xx年我畢業於北華大學外語學院師範英語專業，四年的大學學習讓我掌握了紮實的語言功底。作爲年輕教師，我從不敢懈怠，堅持利用業餘時間學習，提高自身業務水平。透過一年的教學工作，我的教學業務水平得到了很大的提升。今天，我競聘的是高二年級理科英語教師，之所以競聘這個崗位，基於以下三點原因：
一瞭解並熱愛我的學生這一屆高一學生從入學開始就擔任一二班的英語教學工作。在一年的教學實踐中，我揣摩着，嘗試着，與他們真誠溝通交流着，已經非常熟悉每個學生的性格特點和學習現狀，這爲教學工作的進一步開展，奠定了堅實的基礎。

三針對我校學生實際，分析學情，尤其對英語學困生分析了成因：
1對英語不感興趣2錯誤歸因：一些學生在英語學習過程中遇到困難或失敗時，錯誤地把原因歸結於自己的能力，認爲自己不是學習英語的材料，因此放棄嘗試和應有的努力，聽之任之。3元認知欠缺：有的學生學習無目標，隨意性大；課上被動地聽課，等待老師佈置作業；遇到問題時，不懂採用任何補救措施，這些都是元認知的表現，也是造成學業不良的重要原因。
轉化學困生的具體措施：
1.培養興趣，正面激勵
困擾英語學困生的最根本原因是興趣和信心的問題。所以，我們在轉化英語學困生的時侯，關鍵要找到他的興趣點，激發他的興趣，使他具有學習英語的內在動力。
2.確立目標，激發動機
指導學生根據自己的學習基礎和認知水平確立學期目標。這個目標不能定的太高，必須是經過努力可以達到的，並使他們認識到這個目標的最終實現需要以完成每天的學習任務爲基礎。這些短期目標是學困生日常學習的動力，可以防止他們三天打魚兩天曬網。
3.指導策略，樹立信心
有計劃按步驟的指導他們學習運用合適的學習策略，提高英語學習效率。
記單詞是學困生的最大困難，訓練他們的單詞記憶策略。如
（1）拼讀策略。多數學困生習慣用機械重複的方法記單詞，這種方法費時低效。英語單詞有90％是符合讀音規則的，根據讀音去記單詞，可以提高效率。
（2）分類組織策略。根據單詞的音形方面的特徵進行歸類記憶。如同音異義詞。
（3）詞綴策略。滲透英語單詞常見的前綴後綴。
希望透過以上措施能夠轉化學困生，提高他們的學習成績。
除此之外，我競聘的是班主任。我深知，班主任是班集體的靈魂所在。……
