你們好！這次，我要競選的職位是英語科代表，你們一定認爲我不能當選，但是我有信心能當上英語科代表。
我雖然長得虎頭虎腦，但是，我這個虎腦可用的很及時喲！
我每次上英語課的時候聽課都聽得很入迷，不管是多麼枯燥，我都是那麼入迷。
我覺得自己當選的優勢是我上課的時候很認真，考試的時候很愛用腦，我記得四年級下學期期末考試考了100分，我們班是學兩種教材，所以我們考了兩次試，我兩次都是100分，全班只有兩個，英語科代表不是我當選還能是誰呢？
如果我當選了英語科代表的話，我會更加嚴格要求自己，比如：
1、 我每天學習完之後，都要抽出半個小時看英語課外書。
2、 看到不會的單詞我馬上查詞典並寫上意思。
3 、同學們有不會的.地方我會義不容辭地教他們。
但是，我當選以後，我對同學們的要求是：
每天上英語課的時候要認真。作業一定按時交齊，誰沒交我就讓他抄課文一遍並補上作業。
同學們，我相信，如果有我和同學們的共同努力下，我們班的英語成績一定會突飛猛進的，請投我一票吧。

對於英語有不少同學煩惱，我們應該如何學好英語？其實要學好英語，並不難，只要我們每天上課認真，把該記憶的詞彙都認真記住，打好底子，我們學起來就要容易很多。
我們考試的時候，聽力填詞或者做題都需要我們掌握詞彙，聽懂英語。這是一門語言，我們就應該進行練習，多說多看，如果有時間，我們可以看一些英語書籍，鍛鍊自己的英語學習能力，學習更多的詞彙。學習不可能一蹴而就，全靠每天努力學習，我們學習英語的重點分爲單詞，語法，聽力這三方面。
對於單詞，我們就應該多記多背，單詞需要每天記憶，而且需要重複記憶，如果你當天記住了這個單詞，但你卻不願意一直複習，總會有一天忘記。我們除了學習新單詞，更要複習已經學過的單詞，現在我們需要學習的單詞比較少，那我們就應該把他們完全掌握。比如我們每天學習十個單詞，兩天後我們就必須要再次溫習我們學過的單詞，如果這樣感覺記憶非常累，那麼我們可以透過閱讀英語文章來加強單詞記憶，並且每天堅持，只要我們每天都按時學習，掌握更多的單詞我們的基礎就能夠打牢固，這樣就方便了接下來的學習。
掌握了單詞後，我們就應該認真學習語法，畢竟西方的說話習慣，與我們不同，而且表達的意思也有出入，我們不但要掌握各種句型，更要明白如何運用，現在有很多有關語法的書籍可以供我們參考，老師上課所講的語法比較少，我們也可以利用時間多學一些語法，學習語法不但可以讓我們掌握英語說話習慣，也能夠讓我們複習鞏固所學的單詞。對我們的幫助很大。練習語法的最好辦法，就是多做題，透過不同的題型練習自己的語法熟練度，而且各種語法我們必須要背誦掌握下來，當我們記住的語法多了，習慣成自然，就不會覺得這些語法難以接受。
在英語考試中聽力是鍛鍊我們英語溝通能力，如果我們學習了英語，卻不會用英語溝通，而且別人說的英語自己也聽不懂，那不是等於沒學嗎。我們之所以學習英語最主要的目的就是爲了更好溝通，所以想要練習自己的聽力，我們不但要多聽英語磁帶，更要多說，要糾正自己的發音，勤學苦練中能夠學到更多。每天不能忘記自己的學習任務，堅持學習。可以利用早自習時間好好練習。
其實說來說去都離不開一點，那就是勤奮，學英語要勤奮，而且要學會利用時間，畢竟英語是一門語言，我們要掌握這門語言，就必須要勤加練習，多記多背。

Lost time is never found again. This is something which I learned very clearly last semester. I spent so much time fooling around that my grades began to suffer. I finally realized that something had to be done. It was time for a change. Now I have a new plan for using my time wisely. I have set my alarm clock ahead half an hour. This will give me a head start on the day. I have also decided to keep a log of what I do and when I do it. Looking back on what I’ve done will give me some ideas on how to reorganize my time.

Personally speaking, the reasons for this situation are as follows: firstly, they have developed a bad habit of living and learning. They pay no attention to a balanced diet; they never consider reasonable arrangements for relaxation. Besides, loaded with endless homework, they lack exercise.
To solve the problems mentioned above, effective measures must be taken. Schools should call for pupils to participate in physical exercise, such as running 2km a day. It is necessary for the students to form good eating habits. Teachers should reduce the load so that students can combine their studies with pleasure. All these will help the students to enjoy good health.

Needless to say，one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the 20xx Olympic Games. Till now，we have used two sevenths of the preparation time. How much changes have you seen？New roads，new subway lines，public—exercising equipments with beautiful colors，large blocks of grass fields，and also lots of modern gyms which are under construction.
Other than those，there are even more good effects brought to us by the Olympic Games that cannot be seen directly.
For example，more and more people will get to know China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture will attract them strongly. And the games will also do good to the economy and environment，for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the awareness of environmental protection is being strengthened. What is more，Olympic Games give a unique opportunity to inspire and educate a new generation of Chinese youth with the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. Now that we have seen so many advances，could you even imagine us losing the holding rights？
I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyone should use some time to think of this question，”Does the Olympic Games have any special meaning to you？”
For us，I mean the Chinese youth，20xx Olympic Games is a tremendous gift. Because what we are waiting for is to do something significant as repaying the love given to us .
The society is just like a ship，and in our dreams the captain is waving his hand and saying ”Hey！Come here and take the helm！”How charming his voice is，but we have never heard of it in our true life. it's a very intresting topic today. i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. wed go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid. every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life——exactly speaking, in my past 16 years. my father always stands in the center of my life, from past till now and possibly in the future.
my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didnt have our own house and had to live in a shabby, small room rented from my fathers factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didnt have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me. but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese, surly, i have my own he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer. when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character. i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.
years pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after him and i am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say,i really love you dad, cause you are the hero in my mind. thank you so much!
