大家早上好！
我的名字叫xxx，今年12歲了。這一次，我獲得了“全國中小學生英語口語大賽”一等獎，感到非常辛運，在這裏，我要感謝我的父母，是他們給我創造了安靜的環境讓我更好的練習口語；感謝我所在的三義裏小學，是這所學校給我了這次參賽的機會；感謝我的班主任程老師，是她精心指導我怎樣說英語；感謝我們辦的全班同學，是他們一直在支援我，鼓勵我。謝謝你們！
我從英語是全班最差的同學，變成了一個獲得過“全國中小學生英語口語大賽”一等獎的英語小天才，我無數次的不想再堅持練下去，我用自己與同學們玩的時間，在練字。我是多麼希望像別的同學一樣，快活的玩着。我就像一個還沒有完全學會走路的小孩，一路走的磕磕絆絆，可是，我用自己的毅力克服了自己，慢慢的我去認真地走好每一步，最終我是成功的，我是快樂的！
此時此刻我捧着手中的獎，心裏感慨萬千。雖然並不多，但我想這每一個獎的背後都是各位同學日夜苦戰，用自己的勤奮努力和老師家長們的付出換來的。我不想說我們累，更不想說我們苦。因爲我們是青春、瀟灑的'90後，風雨過後我們依然會展露笑容，今日的累是爲了我們明日的輝煌，爲了我們肩上那不可推卸的歷史重任。我相信我們會做的更好。
不過，獲得了獎並不意味着就達到了我們的目標而可以停滯不前。在人生旅途中，獲獎只是一種助推器，而不是最根本的動力器。我們要如何前進？答案就掌握在我們自己的手中。所以，獎並不是我們最終的目標，而是我們前進路途中的一股動力。我們應正確看待這種獎勵和榮譽。不能因爲一時取得好的成績而驕傲，也不能因爲成績一時不理想而氣餒。學習就如逆水行舟，不進則退。只有不斷地努力，不驕不躁，認真對待學習，不輕言放棄，看淡得失。以一顆平常心，踏實勤奮。才能取得更優異的成績，才能創造更美好的未來。當然，沒有獲得獎的同學更不能放棄。要努力起來，哪怕最終沒有成功，最起碼自己努力了，也無愧於心。

first of all, let me tell you a story that happened 2 years ago. at the end of august, 20xx, when i decided to come to beijing for study, my friends helx x xxrewell party for me. they said: after your graduation, you should look for a job in beijing, and then in 20xx, we shall go to visit you during the olympic games. i laughed and answered: ok, no problem!

today i am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. what is success? it is what everyone is longing times success would be rather simple. winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now i am standing here giving my speech is somehow also success.
however, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes very complicated. is fortune success? is fame success? is high social status success? no, i don’t think so. i believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and days, in the modern society there are many people
who are regarded as the successful. and the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. so most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. but the problem is wether it is real success. we all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. if we keep chasing them, where is the end? what will satisfy us at last? therefore, we can see, to get the real success we must need something inside, which is the realization of
people’ hopes and ideals.
different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. but i am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. these are the best treasures. so now i am very proud that i have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. it is my success, cause i raise up to challenge my hope.
what is success? everyone has his own interpretation as i do. but i am sure
every success leads to an ever-brighter future. so ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make a successful life!
